Jagjit Sandhu is a quick seam bowling all-rounder playing for Chandigarh and the top level of professional Indian domestic cricket. Having come through the ranks of Punjab at U19 and U23 level, Jagjit found his way to Chandigarh which would become his stomping ground.
Jagjit made his First Class professional debut in early 2020 where he made an immediate impression bagging 4 wickets in the first innings. It didn't take long to improve on this as his very next match he returned figures of 5/64. He has now achieved an impressive 7/52 career best in First Class. Jagjit's stats with the bat are reassuring too. Averages of around 30 and 20 in List A and First Class respectively cements Jagjit as a genuine all-rounder. A phenomenal 2024 SMAT campaign saw Jagjit finish the leading wicket taker with 18 scalps.
Jagjit has a full UK season under his belt playing for Rode Park & Lawton CC in the North Staffs and Cheshire League in 2023. A solid campaign saw Jagjit return home with 32 wickets and 401 runs in 15 games at an average of 16 and 33 respectively.
Better for a UK season already, Jagjit is looking forward to providing his new club with firepower in all areas!
