Ashwin Hebbar is an Indian batsman playing for elite state Andhra in the top tier of Indian domestic cricket. A regular in all formats of the game, Ashwin is well known for his powerful shots and aggressive stroke play. An opener in limited overs cricket and a top/middle order batsman in First Class, Ashwin has a proven record of being a high class performer across the board.
Ashwin already has a UK stint under his belt playing for Penrith CC in the ECB Northern Premier League in 2018. Ashwin amassed a staggering 1373 runs in 25 games which included 7 100s and 5 50s, averaging 72.24. Extremely useful with the ball too he took an impressive 34 wickets at an average of 19.06.
Since then, Ashwin has reached new heights in domestic cricket and has become one of the few players to achieve 100s in all formats. This didn't go unnoticed as these consistent performances earned him a prestigious IPL contract from the Delhi Capitals in 2022.
Ashwin is returning to the UK for the 2025 season in pursuit of carrying on where he left off. This would no doubt be a phenomenal signing for the club fortunate enough to secure his signature.
