Akash is a young rising star of the Indian game playing professionally for elite state Assam. The paceman and sweet timer offers a diverse skillset in all areas of the game.
The all-rounder developed through the age groups of the Assam setup before making his professional debut in a T20 vs Railways in 2021. Akash has come a long way over the last couple of years and is now a regular feature for Assam in all formats.
Akash already has some excellent figures to his name, most notably a bowling best of 5/20 vs Andhra in List A. What made these figures extra special was it included the 2 wickets of Indian international players Hanuma Vihari and Srikar Bharat.
